**Stack** As `String()</api/data_types/string>`

> Returns a `String</api/data_types/string>` array that contains a list of all of the methods in the stack from the main entrypoint to the point at which the exception was invoked.

FunctionNotFoundException.StackFrames

**StackFrames** As `StackFrame()</api/exceptions/stackframe>`

> Returns an array containing the stack when the exception was first raised.

## Notes

A <span class="title-ref">FunctionNotFoundException</span> is raised when a Soft `Declare</api/language/declare>` statement such as this:

Soft Declare Function getpid Lib "libc" () As Integer
```

fails to find the specified function or library and it cannot be loaded. If a “hard” `Declare</api/language/declare>` fails to load the function, the application will not run at all.

To determine whether the function can be loaded without actually using the Soft `Declare</api/language/declare>`, use the `System</api/os/system>` module's IsFunctionAvailable method. It returns a `Boolean</api/data_types/boolean>` indicating whether the function can be loaded on the user's machine.

## Sample code

The following example adds a `RuntimeException</api/exceptions/runtimeexception>` handler to the above example.
